I have not solely installed the DMC software without the Altiris CMS product, so I am not sure of its reliability... I got everything to wor...DMC looked nice at first. I got everything to work with an initial setup using the defaults.<br /><br />After that I tried to make changes to fit our environment ---nothing drastic, just an additional set of credentials, connection profile, & discovery tasks. While doing so, I removed the original discovery devices.<br /><br />After that it failed to work regardless of whether I used my new profiles or the original defaults, so I've scrapped it to start from scratch again.<br /><br />If DMC can't handle some minor break-fix changes that include removing devices during implementation, I'm already starting to think that it's worth less than what we paid for it ($0).<br /><br />I'm doing reinstallation now, and it's pulling down some substantial updates.
